Ian Liddell-Grainger MP Visits Autohaus VW

Local MP Ian Liddell-Grainger visited Autohaus  today.

The MP for Bridgwater and West Somerset came for a tour of the new workshops and to discuss future expansion plans.

The visit, to Autohaus’ new Minehead premises, comes at a time when the government are introducing a new ‘credit easing’ scheme that looks to help small and medium-sized business by making it easier for them to access finance and credit.

Autohaus, who have been making high standard VW campervan conversions since 1995, are a perfect example of a smaller company looking to expand.

Mr. Liddell-Grainger MP said: “Autohaus are doing exactly what the country needs by manufacturing and taking on more staff.”

The MP was very impressed with what he saw at Autohaus, most notably the high quality workmanship and finish of the Autohaus campervan conversions.

Autohaus currently have five members of staff, four full-time and one part-time, and are looking to increase their workforce as the business grows.
